We need to ensure that we get the Brexit we voted for! Please use the template below to contact your MP and urge them to do what is right: to vote against May’s Draft Brexit Agreement and to put in their letter of No Confidence in the Prime Minister.

This is a very pressing issue and time is a critical factor if we are to succeed. Email or, even better, POST a letter to your MP on this issue. Personalise it to meet your own needs and aspirations and together we can ensure we get the Brexit we deserve.

Dear [insert name here] MP,

I am writing to you as I am a Leave Brexit voter, and a supporter of Get Britain Out, to ask you – as my elected representative in Parliament – to ensure you oppose the betrayal of Leave voters with the Brexit Agreement, which the Prime Minister will bring before Parliament on Tuesday, 11th December.

The public’s majority Leave vote in the EU Referendum on the 23rd June 2016 was a clear declaration of our need to take back control of our borders, money – and our laws. The Prime Minister’s draft Deal was presented to Parliamentarians and the voters ‘as agreed with the EU’ – even before our own Parliament had agreed it! However, it does not and will not deliver the Brexit we voted for. It is now clear it will not and should not get the support of a majority of MPs in the House of Commons.

It would trap the UK into staying in the Customs Union and there would be no guaranteed exit strategy. This could also lead to the potential break up of our precious United Kingdom. As written, the Deal would also leave us unable to exercise our sovereign right to Leave the EU of our own accord, our Parliament would be subject to the rules of the European Court of Justice should we attempt to assert our sovereign right to Leave the EU in the future. Clearly this is absolutely ridiculous – still shackling us to the EU like prisoners, for as long as they have the key to the padlock!

Our PM has informed us this is the best Deal we can expect – and this Deal is in the national interest! I really cannot understand how this can be true. We would remain in many of the institutions the PM pledged we would leave – and even worse – the EU would still make the rules governing those institutions, whilst we are stripped of our ability to resist whichever rules and regulations they impose.

We, the Great British Public, have already given Theresa May a VERY clear mandate for us to Leave the EU, with the biggest ever turnout for any vote when we put our X on the ballot paper in the voting booth for Leave in the EU Referendum. The Deal returned does not deliver on the vote of the British people, nor is it in the national interest.

As my MP, if you truly believe in the democratic process, representing voices – such as mine – in our Constituency, then it is vital, if you wish to ensure my vote for you in the future, for you to vote against the Brexit Deal on December 11th, and offer your support for a solution which will deliver true sovereign control over our borders, laws and money after we Leave the EU on the 29th March next year.

Yours sincerely,

[PLEASE NOTE: You MUST include your full name and address under GDPR rules for the letter to be read by your MP].

Many thanks.
